Originally, from the Dominican Republic, Andrea C. Fisher came to work on her Master’s degree at Utah State University, through the scholarship program financed through the USAID program. She has worked in rural development program with women and small farmers in technology transfer, as a project evaluator for the Kellogg Foundation, Oxfam Canada and the German Development Service, as a trainer for Peace Corp Volunteers in the education and health areas, as an instructor for the English as Second Language Program at the public schools for immigrant students, and an interpreter for parents and the Court System. Her tour values are engaging passion for education and contributing to society. Andrea volunteers for many organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Social Justice at her church, and formerly serves as the president of GRS.
