Felicia Donaldson is an experienced, values driven educator of 10 years and currently holds the position of Music Director at Coleman Middle School. Felicia is responsible for the development and growth of the vocalist under her tutelage. Over the scope of her career she has worked in both the private and public school sectors. This experience alone has generated networking opportunities and has proven the authority and power education has within a community.

 

Felicia received her undergraduate degree from Mississippi Valley State University in Music, Master’s degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Methods and Curriculum from Concordia University Portland, and currently is working towards a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. Although pledging to be a lifelong learner and advocate for learning is Felicia’s passion and policy, she prides herself on being a great mother. Her son, Michael A. Young III is a T-Cell Leukemia survivor and he is a junior at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he studies Exercise Science. Felicia Donaldson a native of the port city delta area of Greenville, MS where we are known for our rich soil and historical blues music. Her parents the late James and Alma Donaldson both shared with her the importance of pouring back into the community, that is why Greenville Renaissance Scholars is so important to her. Her mantra is “I am Prolific and I am so gifted.”
